Small-business owners voice concerns, seek resources during Regulatory Fairness Roundtable
Kenosha, WI – June 27, 2016 – Owners of small businesses from across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois will have the opportunity to voice their concerns about the negative impact that government regulations are having on their businesses.
On June 29 at 10am, the Small Business Administration’s Deputy Ombudsman, Yolanda Swift, will be hosting a Regulatory Fairness Roundtable at Kenosha Public Library, Southwest Location.
During the meeting, business owners are encouraged to share how government-enforced regulations have impacted their businesses and the customers they serve.
For providers of home medical equipment, the threat affects much more than their bottom line, but imposed regulations are affecting how they service patients.
“This is a great opportunity for home medical equipment providers to share real-time input on their daily struggles to maintain efficient operations, but still provide quality of service to the patients who depend on their products,” said John Gallagher, government relations director for VGM Group, Inc. “We appreciate Yolanda Swift and the SBA for hearing our concerns and hope that they use these testimonials to work with federal regulators to facilitate practical and timely resolutions.”
