PADME Act up to 97 co-sponsors!

With just three weeks remaining before CMS applies the final reimbursement cuts of the nationwide expansion of competitive bidding, the industry has been putting every ounce of energy into gathering support and finding an avenue to get H.R. 5210 and S. 2736, The Patient Access to Durable Medical Equipment Act, signed into law. This effort from providers, patients and other industry stakeholders is seeing direct results from this grassroots activity. Just in the past three day, once Congress returned from a week of being back in their home districts, H.R. 5210 has gained 25 additional co-sponsors. Currently the bipartisan effort has 97 co-sponsors. We are nearly at the 100 marker!
Co-sponsors added this week to H.R. 5210: Reps. Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.), Paul Cook (R-Calif.), Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), Kenny Marchant (R-Texas), Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.), David Young (R-Iowa), Joseph Heck (R-Nev.), Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.), Scott Peters (D-Calif.), James Lengevin (D-R.I.), Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), Chris Stewart (R-Utah), Alexander Mooney (R-W.V.), Matt Cartwright (D-Pa.), Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), Evan Jenkins (R-W.V.), David McKinley (R-W.V.), Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas), Rick Allen (R-Ga.), Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), Harold Rogers (R-Ky.), Tom Graves (R-Ga.), Mark Pocan (D-Wis.)

The VGM Action Center has had over 5,000 messages sent to congressional offices across the country. It is still extremely important to flood the in-boxes of congressional offices to urge their support of H.R. 5210 and S. 2736! Your friends, co-workers, patients, family, friends on social media or anyone in between could be affected by these reimbursement cuts, and the cuts must be stopped!
