Montana’s population of Medicare beneficiaries and suppliers heard the woes of the HME industry through the good old fashioned radio waves. The “Voices of Montana” is a statewide daily radio talk show that provides Montana’s listeners a sounding board to simultaneously share ideas, give their own opinions, and hear differing viewpoints about issues that matter to their state.
Big Sky AMES members Alesha Rate of Norco and Amy Rients of Juro’s Home Medical arranged for John Gallagher to speak about the concerns of the medical equipment access in rural states like Montana. The host stated this was one of the best conversations he ever had on his show and received many follow up calls afterward.
This is a great example of another way to spread the word about the rural DME access concerns to Medicare beneficiaries. Great work Alesha and Amy!
