The Senate bill to stop competitive bid prices for Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) wheelchair accessories was introduced late last week. The bill number is S.2196, is the same language as is currently on the House bill HR 3229. The bipartisan bill was introduced by Sen. Casey (D-PA) and Sen. Portman (R-OH), Sen. Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Cochran (R-MS).
Now we need bill co-sponsors! Please reach out to your Senator and ask for their support. VGM’s DClink has made it simple. Click here to send a message to your Senator asking them to sign on to S.2196. A pre-made message has been created, you may edit the message if you choose.
We also need more members of Congress to sign on to the House companion HR. 3229.
